India ki New National Education Policy (NEP) 2024 ne education system mein bohot hi zaroori aur bade changes laaye hain, jo students ke overall development aur
flexibility ko focus karte hain.
- Higher Education Reforms:- Ab UGC, AICTE, aur NCTE jaise regulatory bodies ko hata ke Higher Education Commission of India (HECI) ek single
umbrella body banayi gayi hai. Yeh public aur private dono hi institutions ke liye common rules set karegi, medical aur legal education ko chhod kar.
Iska maksad education ko ek streamlined aur fair system mein badalna hai. - Interdisciplinary Learning:- NEP 2024 ke tehat ab traditional streams jaise science, arts, aur commerce ke rigid boundaries khatam kar di gayi hain.
Ab students apne interest ke hisaab se “kisi bhi stream ke subjects choose kar sakte hain”, aur unko internships aur vocational training ka mauka 6th grade se hi milega.
Is se unki practical skills pe bhi focus hoga, jo aaj ke time mein bohot zaroori hai. - Undergraduate Programs:- Policy ke under ab 4-year undergraduate program wapas aaya hai, jisme multiple exit options diye gaye hain.
Agar kisi wajah se student course beech mein chhodna chahta hai, toh wo diploma ya certificate le sakta hai. Saath hi, ek “Academic Bank of Credit” bhi
introduce kiya gaya hai, jisme different institutions se earned credits store kar ke future mein use kiye ja sakte hain. - School Structure aur Exams:-School structure ko 5+3+3+4 model mein redesign kiya gaya hai, jo foundational, preparatory, middle, aur secondary stages ko dhyaan
mein rakhta hai. Exams ab sirf 2nd, 5th, aur 8th grades ke end mein honge, jo students par unnecessary pressure kam karega aur unki holistic assessment pe zyada focus karega. - Vocational Education aur Foundational Skills:- Vocational education ko ab preschool se lekar high school tak implement kiya jaega, jisse students practical skills
seekh paenge. Saath hi, foundational literacy aur numeracy ko 2025 tak pura karne ka target rakha gaya hai, jo bacho ki basic understanding ke liye essential hai.
Yeh reforms students ko flexibility denge, education system ko modern banayenge, aur dropout rates ko kam karne mein madad karenge. Lekin, isse properly implement karne
ke liye abhi bhi qualified teachers aur proper funding jaise challenges ka samadhan zaroori hai.
