Mumbai mein ek bade alleged international drug-smuggling network ka MIDC Police ne bust karne ka daawa kiya hai. Andheri East mein police ne do logon ko allegedly 12.39 kg ketamine ke saath arrest kiya, jiski estimated value police ke mutabik ₹37.17 crore hai.
Police ke mutabik, dono suspects Airport Metro Station ke paas Andheri-Kurla Road par luggage bags ke saath suspicious condition mein mile. Police team ko dekhkar allegedly dono ne bhaagne ki koshish ki, lekin unhe pakad liya gaya. Search ke dauraan bags se white crystalline substance recover hua, jise forensic examination ke baad ketamine bataya gaya.

Police ke mutabik, alleged syndicate Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar aur Malaysia jaise countries tak drugs bhejne ke liye air-travel carriers ka use karta tha. Investigation mein ab tak 7 logon ki identification hone ki baat saamne aayi hai, jabki is case mein do arrests hui hain.
Dono accused ke against NDPS Act ke relevant provisions ke tahat case registered hai aur police alleged wider network, overseas connections aur supply chain ki investigation kar rahi hai
