Thane mein Shiv Sena (UBT) ke local leader Pradeep Purnekar ki maut ke baad Maharashtra ki politics mein tension badh gayi hai. Purnekar ko Tuesday night Thane ke Manpada area mein unidentified assailants ne allegedly shoot kiya tha. Hospital mein treatment ke dauran unki maut ho gayi. Police ne case register karke CCTV footage aur doosre evidence ki jaanch shuru ki hai.
Is incident ke baad Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut ne Maharashtra government aur Thane Police par sawaal uthaye. Raut ne law-and-order situation ko lekar criticism kiya aur accused ki jaldi identification aur arrest ki demand ki.
Raut ne killing ke peeche political rivalry aur alleged local disputes ka bhi zikr kiya, lekin police ke mutabik murder ka exact motive abhi establish nahi hua hai. Investigators political rivalry ke saath personal enmity samet multiple angles se probe kar rahe hain.
Meanwhile, Purnekar ke family members ne kuch political figures se sambandhit allegations bhi lagaye hain. In allegations ki police investigation abhi chal rahi hai, aur jin logon par allegations lagaye gaye hain unki taraf se guilt establish nahi hua hai.
Ab investigation ka focus attackers ki identity, motive aur alleged pre-planning ke sawaalon par hai. CCTV aur forensic evidence se police ko case mein aage badhne ki umeed hai.
